Receive an Error Message When Burning ISO Image on DVD

I am in the process of burning an ISO image into a DVD, but I am receiving this error message, which I pasted down below.

I need someone who can help me fix this issue.

Attached below is the dialog box of the error message that pops up when I am trying to burn an ISO image using the ImgBurn Software.

When I clicked on YES it seems like it’s trying to do something again and after a few seconds the same error message will pop up again. So I tried clicking on No and then it will stop the burning process and have my DVD ejected.

Can someone tell me what to do?

Error:

ImgBurn Optimal L1 Data Zone Start LBA:None Found!(VTS_01)

This image has not been mastered correctly for burning onto a double layer (OTP Track Path) disc.

None of the cells meet the 'DVD-Video specification' criteria for a potential layer break position.

Do you want to continue anyway?

There are few things that you need to confirm first.

  1. Is the DVD you are using is write able or has free space to write too? There is also a possibility that the DVD is finalized last time it was written.
  2. By looking at the error window I think that you are using an older version of IMGBurn. Update it and then see if it happens.
  3. Why it is asking for a break layer because it can't find any on the DVD. You must use the VobBlanker to split few cells and then try the burning process again.
  4. When you were burning the image file did you open the .mds file with it? Because that file contains the break points that are necessary in this case. Open that file too in the imgburn along with the iso file and then start the burning.
