It would be much easier if you indicated the model number of your scanner. Anyway, if your scanner is not working, check if you’ve already installed its driver. If not and the product is newly purchased, you need to install the driver for the scanner to work. Use the setup CD that came with it. It should contain the appropriate driver for your scanner.
Just install it on your computer to make the scanner work. On the other hand, if you don’t have the CD, you need to download the driver from its official website. But before you download, you need to check which platform you are using. The software, by the way, is not free. It costs $10. If you are a non-cloud customer, that means you are using their legacy software.
Go to Neat Legacy Software for Windows to download the software. For Mac, go to Neat Legacy Software for Mac. On the other hand, if you are a cloud customer and you are subscribed to their Essential, Premium, or Business plans, go to Neat Software for Windows. For Mac, go to Neat Software for Mac. Note: Neat has already retired the Legacy software.
