Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Setup Error

Hello,

Realtek HAD: Error 0xE0000227 mostly occurs when installing the drivers on Windows XP. This is mostly common with SP3.

One of the ways to solve this problem Is to uninstall the already installed Realtek drivers. This can be done through the task manager, then click the view tab and then devices by connections. From this area you can disable and uninstall the “UAA High Definition audio Bus Driver for Microsoft”. After this you can now install the drivers without any error.

The other way is to change the CSDVersion registry key for SP3 to SP2. Realtek doesn’t install its patch since it thinks that SP3 being a better version than SP2 has a better version. This can be done by changing the registry key to HKLMSYSTEMCurrentSetControlWindowsCSDVersion value=200. After completing this process, repeat the installing process as described above.
