Hi Experts,
I have been using Real Player for long. While converting an mp3 file, I have received an error message. The screenshot of the error message is as under. It is indicating Codec failure. What does it mean? I have no idea for the issue. How can I get a remedy of this issue?
If you have any idea for the issue please help.

You have to install the codec in your system, this program are capable of encoding/decoding a digital data stream or signal. Without this you cannot play/read some media which your media player can’t recognize. You may try this codec:

The mean of that Error Massage is that your PC is not included the supported Codecs to convert the MP3 file. Or the Codecs are corrupted. Codec is the short name of Coder and Decoder. As CO from Coder and DEC from Decoder. Codec is Software that takes a raw data file into a compressed file. The compressed file contains some of the data found in the original file. It is doing a part of translator. The translator has to decide what data make it in to compressed version and what data have to discard.

A video file compressed using the Intel Indeo Codec and it is difference from a file compressed using Cinepak Codec.
