Hi guys.  I have the RealOne player add on installed on my Mozilla Firefox browser.  Why is it that when I try viewing Flash videos, it only shows a black screen, hangs and eventually crashes.  Is the add on for Real One player Firefox compatible?  I use Mozilla Firefox 21.0.

Hello Dorothy,

The problem is most likely with the version of the RealOne Player plugin that you are using. To resolve it, you will need to try the following:
Update the RealOne player to the latest version.
Check if RealOne is in protected mode. If it is, you will need to change that.
Also disable hardware acceleration in the RealOne plugin.

Hello,

Some editions of Real Player don't recognize Firefox, and do not install the important DLL files in the required path.. Firefox needs a file called "nppl3260.dll," that must be added to Firefox's plug-ins directory. This file is created temporarily by the software during installation, but deleted when the installation is completed. This file can be downloaded for free from the internet. After downloading the file, save it in the path "C:Program FilesMozillaPlugins and restart your browser

Obtain a copy of the file and restart Firefox and you should be finally be able to play Real Media.
