If you want to re installation of Dell Server T300 without effecting Raid, you must boot to the 2003 CD to Recovery Console.  Since 2003 cannot converse with the drives without a RAID driver, you will need to load the RAID driver  from a floppy disk.

This is a very risky process, so be careful. I can only give you the steps. Here they are:

a) Boot the latest Windows cd. Set the boot order from BIOS so the cd boots before the hard drive.

b) When you get the “press any key” massage, press a key quickly.

c) Carefully scroll to the bottom part of screen. When it says press key f6 for SCSI or RAID driver, press F6 quickly.

d) Press “S” to insert a floppy disk with a driver.

e) It will ask you to insert the floppy disk, press enter.

f) Select the appropriate version of Windows.

g) It is recommended that you select Windows driver instead of floppy driver. press ‘s’.

h) Press ENTER.

i) To repair Windows using recovery, press ‘R’.

j) When asked for a license term, press F8.

k) To repair, press "R"

n) When repairing, it may ask you for a driver disk and

tell you about Microsoft Signature, you don’t need to worry about that.

After it is complete, make sure that you apply the OS patches.

I hope this helps.
