I am getting an error message when I attempt to raise a domain functional level from Win Server 2003 to Win Server 2008. Please see the screen shot. Please help me to solve the issue. Thanks in advance.

functional level

Raise domain functional level

The functional level was raised successfully. The new functional level will replicate to each Active Directory Domain Controller in the domain. The amount of time this will take caries, depending on your replication topology.

Raising domain function level WinServer 2003 to Win Server 2008

Well,

First I want to tell you this is not an error message. Any messages that followed by an exclamation mark are not error messages. It is an information dialog box. You need not to worry about this type of messages. You only need to worry about a message with a Red Cross (error) or message that warns about something.

In this case, it is telling you that the functional level was raised successfully and you don’t need to get any further action but it will take some time to take caries. It is depending on your replication topology.

You don’t need to raise domain functional level again.

Thanks
