Hello,

Does anyone receive a fatal error message in Quicken Essentials 1.5.1 or later.

Quicken has detected a fatal error and must quit. Please contact Intuit. (error Cash Flow Transactionld)

A problem has been detected in your data file. To correct the problem, please contact Intuit Quicken support.

Quicken will now quit, and provide diagnostic information you can send to Intuit.

Hello John,

I guess doing as the software instructs is the best way to solve the problem. Did you contact the Intuit Support?

You can also try to uninstall and then re-install the latest version of Quicken in your Mac OS.

If that does not solve the problem, you may have some bugs in your OS.

Hello John,

The error you have mentioned is caused when the Quicken data file gets damaged and can't open by the Quicken essential.

This type of damage sometimes happens if the sudden shutdown of quicken because of power outages occur or the hard drive corruption or damage where the data file are occupied. 

Now I would suggest you to restore a backup of the data files prior to the damage.
