I'm installing Quickbooks Pro 2011 on a Windows XP desktop. Each time I start the install I get an error:

"NETWORK ERROR OCCURRED WHEN ATTEMPTING TO READ FROM FILE E:\QBOOKS\MSXML[1] MSE" then I get "FATAL ERROR MSI 1603".

Try copying the contents of the cd to a new folder in your desktop and run the setup file from that folder. You may also try to download the software and install at www.usequickbooks.com/pro2011 .

Currently downloading the installer off the internet, seems like my CD is busted, might call support to have it replaced as well.

Hi Gen,

I was able to install it using the setup files I downloaded over the internet. Appreciate the help though!
