Hello,

I've got a question.  How would you define Apple script in Xcode 3.1.2? Is one making an app with Cocoa? Is it called Applescript Studio or Cocoa Applescript? Please help me as soon as possible. Thanks in advanced. Regards, Gaffy Jen

Question regarding definition “Applescript in Xcode”

Hi good day,

All I know AppleScirpt in Xcode 3.1.2 is also known as “AppleScript Studio”. Applescript studio has additional terminology, in the form of handlers that call “Cocoa methods” that let you create applications with a customer user interface of your own design.

Apple Script Studio is deprecated in Snow leopard “ Xcode 3.2.x” in favor of new framework “AppleScriptObC” that lets you call Cocoa methods directly, from AppleScript. Both will let you use AppleScript to create Cocoa applications “or at an application that uses Cocoa”.

Thank you.
