When you see the words “Quad Core” on the specifications of any Smartphones it points to its processor. This is the main part of the handset that makes it faster or slower besides having an extra chipset and a faster GPU or Graphics Processing Unit. If you don’t plan to use your Smartphone for playing games then you don’t need to have a nice GPU because GPU is only best for mobile games for processing heavy graphics. If you’ll be comparing a processor with dual core and a quad core, the processor with quad core will surely outrun the dual core.
