Hi techyv;

My computer system is Pentium –IV 1.2 GHZ and mouse is PS/II A4Tech Scroll mouse but my systems’ motherboard doesn’t have PS/II port. I am using serial connecter to connect mouse to computer. Windows XP 2002 was installed on my system.

When I have installed windows 7 so it stops working. What is this problem?

And what should I do?

Please help me.

Thanks

That is why it stopped because your computer’s hardware specification is on the edge of the minimum system requirements of Windows 7. Your system will perform slowly since you only have Pentium 4 1.2 GHz processor. Here are the minimum system requirements for Windows 7:

  • 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  • 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM for 32-bit or 2 GB RAM for 64-bit
  • 16 gigabyte (GB) available hard drive space for 32-bit or 20 GB for 64-bit
  • DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher

You need to replace your motherboard to be able to install Windows 7 since your board only supports serial mouse types and your processor is very slow to be able to run Windows 7 efficiently.
