Please I would like to know why in my department everybody connects his/her pc to the departmental projector it works perfectly but my pc cannot connect with that projector. I took a test by connecting my pc to a different monitor and when I do it connected. I would like to know why I can’t connect my pc to the projector
There few possibilities due to which your pc can't be connect to your department projector. the first possibilities is that you must check the port through which you want to connect your pc and projector that either it is working or not. For test you have to connect your pc with another Monitor or projector if it connect and data sending is perfect it means that your port is working. Now check the projector port and connect it will another pc if this was working.
If mean the projector port is also working then check the cable through which you want to connect. if it is also working then there will be some issue of protocols through which data sending and receiving occur and it does not match in both that why both can't be connected.

Is it a specific projector that you are trying to your computer? If not, then you will need to try using another projector and see if it will work. If the other projector works well, then it is most likely that the issue you are getting is due to the projector itself. You can as well check the port on your computer.
