Error: Memory Location Could Not Be Read

Whenever I try to play a game or do anything with any of the adobe software, after running for 10 minutes or so, the program crashes and says something like "memory location could not be read".

I have tried re-installing windows but the problem remains. So I guess it's a hardware problem. I desperately need help on this please!

Well! You can't conclude it's a hardware problem yet! Have you reinstalled windows from the same disk that you did earlier or is it a new one? Does the problem occur with specific games or just any game? The answers could determine the problem.

There is another possibility. Do you have a web server running on your PC? The "http" port is used by servers and other programs which cannot access that port if a server is running. Use a firewall to scan your ports to find out which program is using which ports and update us!

LOL. Damn, the last post was for another question! That's what happens when you work with so many tabs! Anyway sounds like an old problem with .NET data queue ActiveX control. There is a fix on Microsoft's website.

Go there and download the hot fix, apply and see what happens.

Well! I tried what you asked but didn't work for me. Let me explain a bit. It all happens when I stress my PC which has a core 2 duo processor, 1 gig RAM, NVIDIA 9400, gigabyte g31 Motherboard. Its almost 3 years old, does that make anything tick? Just so you know. Please help. Its really annoying.

I guess that's the old RAM. It can happen when RAM get old and overheats. Try using a newer one (2 GB at least) and see what happens. You could borrow one from a friend just to check if it works.
