Volunteers have started a project that is focused to teach programming of computers to young children in primary schools. What teaching techniques will the tutors use to make the young brains understand programming?
Programming introduced in primary schools
Young brains tend to imitation something. If you look at the young ones you will find that they are learning things by watching and observing. This trick can be used to help them in understanding and learning computer programming. So tutors can follow some simple but useful rules. At first make the programming of computers look easy and fun. Give them some time to understand what's going on and to find out the fun out of it. Try to insert the basic ideas like playing a games and the languages that were used to develop the games. The most important thing to teach computer programming is to teach Mathematics.Once the young ones are good at Math they will be very good at computer programming. So Teaching basic Math
and starting with very basic programming is a good technique to make the young brains understand programming.
