Hello experts,

After I installed Football Manager this night, when I tried to open it this error message box sadly stopped me.  I reinstalled the FM and still this error. I didn’t delete any DLL files from my PC so I don’t know why I have this error. Can anyone help me to fix this error? Why I have this error and how can I prevent it to appear in the future?

Thanks!

If you didn’t delete anything, try restarting your computer and then run the program again. See if it works. If it doesn’t work, run the application as administrator. On your desktop, right-click on the program’s icon and select Properties. Select Compatibility tab then check “Run this program as an administrator” and then click OK.

Start the program again and see if it works. If reinstalling the application didn’t help fix the issue, check if there is a new version available. If you are using Football Manager 2013 and earlier, download the latest version Football Manager 2014 which is available on Steam. It supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. To use it, you need a broadband connection.

If you are on Windows 8.1 and it has a problem, try running it in compatibility mode for Windows 7 or Windows 8. For Mac users, it supports Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, 10.7 Lion, and 10.8 Mountain Lion. Before installing Football Manager 2014, since your present Football Manager has an issue with a DLL file, uninstall it first then click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and click Disk Cleanup.

Choose drive C and click OK. Check “Temporary files”, click OK, and then click Delete Files. Once it is finished, restart your computer. Install Football Manager 2014 and see if it works. If in case you still get the same error with the missing DLL file, download the file from saAudit2005MT.dll File Download. Unpack the ZIP file and copy the DLL file to the installation folder of the requesting program. This should fix the problem.
