Hi! Processor i7-3630qm (2.4) becomes really hot after some time of working. Laptop has Windows 7 x64, laptop is not really old, almost 2 years. Right after starting windows it is still ok, but after loading 3-4 programs like Chrome for example it reaches 200F! It seems like he works with maximum energy for each program. Please advise what can I do?

It's normal for your laptop to get hot, but here are a few ideas to try to cool it down a bit. First, try putting your hand next to your laptop's fan vents. If you don't feel any air coming out of it, that means that a buildup of dust might be blocking it and causing it to heat up. This actually happened with my husband's computer. He got a can of compressed air, which can be found at stores like Best Buy or even Walmart, and he blew the dust away.

Also, try using a lap desk. It will allow air to flow beneath where it needs to. If you're one to put your laptop on your lap all the time, that's not a good idea, because your legs will keep the air from flowing freely.

There are also several programs you can try that work to control your fan speeds, and you might want to check them out. They include SpeedFan for Windows, or smcFanControl for OS X.

Finally, it's a good idea not to use CPU-intense processes too often. Things like computer games and Flash cause the computer to work real hard, thereby causing it to heat up.

First check that your fan is working or not.
If it is not working, then try to pump some air in your laptop and try to remove the dust. If it works, then fine otherwise a technician can repair it.
Second use an external fan available in markets.
Last remove the unused program from the control panel.
Also, stop the extra function from the task manager.
