Hello everybody,

I am having problems when I try to install CentreWare Web v.5.2.42. It says that it needs Internet Information Services, which has to be installed, but I’m not sure whether I want it. I installed IIS7.0, but the CWW sends an error.

How and where can I enable this? I located Service Manager IIS in Control Panel – Administrative Tools, but I can’t seem to find any relevant information.

I am using Windows 7 OS.

Can anyone please help me?

Thanks.

Hello Robert Martin!

Please do not forget to install first IIS before installing CentreWare Web. Follow these simple steps in installing IIS

For Windows XP:

1. Go to your “Control Panel”.

2. Double-click on “Add/Remove Programs” Menu listed.

3. Click on “Add/Remove Windows Components”.

4. Double-click on “Internet Information Services” and the sub-components will appear.

5. Click on the “Common Files, File Transfer Protocol, Internet Information Service Snap-in” checkboxes.

6. Click OK and IIS will be installed.

7. After installing IIS, you can now install CentreWare Web.

For Windows 7:

1. Open your Control Panel and type “features” on search box and click the “Program and Features”. (See image below)

Control Panel and type features

2. Scroll down until you find Internet Information Services and collapse to see the subcomponents. Now check IIS Management Console. Click OK and wait to finish. (See image below)
