Problems with my USB Skype cordless phone 7100

Hello everyone,

I had some problems with my USB Skype cordless phone 7100. However, after I set up the windows vista PC 2007, everything went back to normal. I can now receive the bell ring on the cordless unit only that I cannot hear any sound from it, what could be the problem here?

I will give you some possible solutions and hope one of them works with you:

1)  Use it with Skype version 3.8 or less, newer versions of Skype don't work with Skype phone 7100.

2)  It's better to use it with windows XP as many users have problems using it with windows vista.

3)  You have to enable "always run in compatibility mode".
