Problems with mouse pointers settings

Hi,

The cursor or the mouse pointer can be set once. After you restart you PC then it automatically saves the settings, once you use it the settings will be remain. I just wondering why you keep changing your mouse pointer everytime you use your PC.

Solution:

Unfreeze your computer by pressing alt>ctr>shift>f5>f6>f7 and set your mouse what settings you want.
Restart your computer and make sure it freezes.

Try to see if there are changes made. You can download also cursor pointers on the internet. There are many characters to be choose. Just repeat this process once you need to download new character on the internet it's there.

If your computer is in Freeze state you can not save anything even if changes in your settings

Thanks.

The problem may be with the pointer options that you are using and therefore you will need to check that and change the options;

  • On your computer, point the cursor on the desktop and right click on it.
  • Click on personalize.
  • In the window that will open, choose 'change mouse pointers'.
  • Another window will open; from there choose the mouse pointer that you will like to use.
  • In the same window, click on the 'pointer options' tab.
  • Change the options as you want by either checking or unchecking the boxes.
  • Save the changes and exit.

Restart the computer and see if the problem is solved.
