I want to upgrade my Iphone 4S software to IOS 8 but its not installing. In fact it says the Iphone 4S is up to date but how?? though I'm trying again and again it shows the message as Iphone is updated and no new upgrades are available. Please help me solve this ASAP

This is possible for those who haven’t checked his phone’s firmware.
First, check your phone whether it’s iOS 8 or not. To check your iOS version,
1. Go to Settings >> General >> About.
2. Scroll down and find out the “Version” of your iOS.
If you find the iOS version is iOS 8, it’s alright that nothing else is to be updated.
Also, check that your iTunes is the latest. Download iTunes. Corrupted iTunes can show the issue so having the latest version is a must.
You might also consider hard resetting your iPhone 4S so that the firmware and environment is on the factory state which will be perfect for updating to iOS 8. Press and hold “Home” button and “Sleep/Wake” button simultaneously.
