Hi guys,

A problem with windows 7 64 bit direct 3d. The counterstrike game was installed by my brother in my Compaq Hp Presario CQ40 laptop, the installation process was a successful one. However while running the game application it says unable to open file and needs direct 3d. What does it mean and how can I be able to play the game?

Hi,

This problem is caused for missing update version of DirectX. You can find this file to your game backup file.

Find the “supporting file” folder of your game backup and install DirectX manually. It may need to restart your computer after installation

If you can’t find the supporting file, you need to download it.

Without this file it doesn’t make any trouble to install game but you can’t run this.
