Hi there,

I tried to make an update, but this error popped-up. I searched to make a download from different servers but nothing useful was found. I am a bit new on Apple and I don’t have a much experience with this kind of errors. Please is anyone available to help fixing the mess I did?

Thank you!

I guess there’s no problem running the installer if you know the downloaded file came from a known source. This message normally appears in Mac OS X when you are trying to install something that doesn’t come from the Mac App Store because the operating system, by default, only allows installation from authorized developers which are usually from the Mac App Store.

If this package you are trying to install is a driver for your device and you know you downloaded it from the authorized website or the official website then you can continue installing it. Just hit on the Open button to start the installation. In case the DMG file is damaged or something, try downloading a different installer for your device.

If it doesn’t work and the file is really damaged, download MIDISport Series MIDI_USB_OSX_3.2.2.dmg instead and try it. It works on Mac OS X Tiger versions 10.4.4, 10.4.5, 10.4.6, 10.4.7, 10.4.8, 10.4.9, and 10.4.10.

In case you upgraded your operating system, try downloading MIDISport Anniversary 3.4.0 MIDI_USB_OSX_3.4.0.dmg which supports Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger until 10.8.5 Mountain Lion.
