I installed HP DESKJET F2480 last year to my Acer Laptop under Windows Vista operating system. It went well and had used all the applications from printing to scanning & to photocopying. This year, I’ve changed my operating system to Windows 7 and all applications to my laptop were deleted.
After installation of the new operating system, I installed my HP DESKJET F2480anAftd photocopying applications. The question is, what will I do to restore the same application of scanning thru my printer this time with Windows 7? and unfortunately, I can only use the printing d photocopying applications. The question is, what will I do to restore the same application of scanning thru my printer this time with Windows 7?

PROBLEM WITH SCANNING THRU HP DESKJET F2480
AngelHid,
Windows 7 has its own generic scanning application built in for all HP AIO printers. you can access this by:
Click the Windows Orb > click on Devices and Printers > right click on the Printer icon.
The scan options will be available on the printer bar on the top part of the next window. If it does not show up there, you might need to download the updated printer driver for Windows 7 32-bit.

PROBLEM WITH SCANNING THRU HP DESKJET F2480
First, you should verify whether you have installed the drivers properly. If not properly install them using the driver CD.
If the problem still exists, you have to update your drivers from the HP support center.
HP has developed a patch file to sort out this problem. You can download this through;
Follow the on screen guidelines to install this patch.
If you want to run this file immediately select ‘Run’ or to do this, task later save this .exe file to the laptop and run.
Make sure that you have installed HP All in One Software version 13 or 13.1, before running this file
Cheers
