Hello everyone! I recently bought a computer with the motherboard MCP73T-AD in it. The problem is that it only has one CD/DVD ROM. I am thinking of adding another CD/DVD ROM but the motherboard only has two SATA plugs in this case. One of them is used by the hard drive and the other one is used by the DVD drive. What should I do? Please Help!

Hello Dennis!

If you don’t have enough SATA port don’t worry because nowadays manufacturers are circulating external CD-ROM. It comes in COMBO. It can be a combo of DVD-ROM and re-writable. With this you can extend the functionality of your ROM (Read-Only-Memory). You can use it in to different computers or laptops. You can bring it anywhere. If you bought already an internal CD-ROM, you can still convert it to external ROM buy buying an “Enclosure.
