I downloaded latest version of VLC media player few days back. Initially, it wouldn't run, but on restarting the system, it ran fine. But now it is not working at all.
I re installed the same version once again, but that didn't solve the problem. So I downloaded an older version.
But even this one doesn't work!
Please help.
I'm not sure if you forgot to uninstall/remove the previous version of it before you installed the new one. Make sure that you remove first all previous installation or version of the VLC software before installing a new one/newer version.
Few things that you should have also mentioned:
Are you getting any error message or it just wouldn’t run?
Are you able to open VLC after installing but can't play anything?
Basically, what I can suggest is that you reinstall again VLC.
