Problem related with exiting a software

I am having an exiting software related problem. My os is windows 7. The problem is with the photoshop software. Each time I try to exit the software it takes plenty of time to close the program and sometimes it stays open till I close my computer. Can anyone give any solution about this exiting software problem?

Hello.

The problem with Photoshop is due to following reasons.

1.       Well, you did not mention the configuration of the system. The problem may be due to low configuration of the system.

2.       Photoshop is huge software and it requires more space.

3.       Make sure that the drive in which you have installed the software has enough space.

4.       Try to upgrade your system configuration.

5.       If the problem still persists, try to uninstall Photoshop and install a fresh copy.

Hello David,

A problem like that occurs due to the following reasons:

  • When you have used up close to all the space on the primary or system drive. In that case therefore you will need to go to your primary drive on your computer and remove the files that you are not using. If you have not partitioned the drives on your computer, you will  need to do that and then ensure that you do not store any other files on the primary drive except the system files.
  • If Photoshop has been working properly since it started recently, you will need to do a system restore to get rid of any changes on your computer that you might have made that could have led to the issue that you're getting.
