Hi,

My computer has just recovered from a virus problem and is trying to fix things up. Then when I was recovering from using Windows recover and selecting the last working system then after that, when I was opening files after recovery, this problem showed up.

So I tried doing what it said and reinstalling it. But still the error persists even though I have tried repairing and re-installing for a time now. What is the problem?

Registry Mechanic

Registry Mechanic

Registry Mechanic is missing core application files:

C;Program FilesRegistry Mechaniclogignore.dat

C:Program FilesRegistry Mechanicloglgds.log

C:Program FilesRegistry Mechaniclogigdskeys.log

Please reinstall.

Hi,

This is possibly caused by some corrupt or misconfigured file. As you have mentioned that you have already reinstalled it but it didn’t work. I am sure there is some windows file which is corrupt and is required by registry mechanic to run properly. There can be several solutions for this:

Try to recover your system to some early date at which it worked fine and then try to install registry mechanic.

System Restore

If it didn’t work then start windows repairing process by using a windows CD.

As a last resort, if everything else fails , you have to install a new copy of windows.

If your computer previously got infected with a virus and you are now seeing that error, the infection probably corrupted some registry entries causing problems to the program. In this case, uninstalling and reinstalling the program may not help because sometimes setup doesn’t remove entries in the registry or there are leftovers. Try uninstalling the program with Revo Uninstaller.

Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo then select Registry Mechanic among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer.

When it is finished, exit Revo then install Registry Mechanic back or just download it again. Download Registry Mechanic 11.1.0.214 and install it.
