Please help. When I opening Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager, I get the following error message:

Microsoft.NET Framework
Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If
you click Continue. the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

Field not found:

Microsoft.Business Solutions.eCRM. BusinessLayer.BcmDataStore.CxnOp
eningProgressHandler'.

What should I do to resolve this error?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Brian,

Have you installed the .net framework and is it the updated version?  To determine what version you have you follow these steps:

-Click Start, type regedit in the Search programs and files box or if you are using Windows XP. Click Run and type regedit in the Run Dialogbox in Windows XP and then press Enter.

-Registry window will come up.

– In the Registry Editor, locate the Registry Key Name in the table below and check the value for the related .NET Framework.

– If it’s  not the updated version, I would suggest you to reinstall the update. Download .NET Framework 3.5 from Official Microsoft Download Center It might correct the issue.

-Also, try to run a system restore from the date the application is working alright. You have might download or installed something in your system that conflicted with the application.
