Usually, whenever you transfer something from this kind of device to your computer, the one handling the task is its computer application.

This is the program that controls the flow of data and manages the connectivity between your device and your computer. If you think that your camera’s software is not working right, reinstalling it would help in restoring it to its default configuration and thus removing any possible corrupted files that is probably affecting the program from functioning correctly.

Uninstall your camera’s software from your machine then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Install the application again after this and test it if it works.

If it still doesn’t, check if your operating system is compatible with the application. The software for Cyber-shot Digital Camera W350 model number: DSC-W350/B works on Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7, and Mac OS X 10.4 to 10.6.

Since you are using a Mac, check if its version is supported or not. To have a view on your camera’s full specifications and other important details, visit Sony — Cyber-shot Digital Camera W350 model number: DSC-W350/B.
