Hi,

I am using Mac OS X. I recently install the Virtual network computing (VNC) application on my system for desktop sharing and file transfer. I am facing a problem with it. I don’t know why my screen sharing to fail when the display is sleeping. Have any one experienced this problem before? If you know the solution, then tell me. My screen sharing got fails during mountain lion vnc file transfer when display is in sleep mode.

Hi there Kimberly, Putting or letting you machine to sleep will eventually cause any file sharing or screen sharing or downloading, more of less everything to a rest, just like humans do. The meaning of sleep for these machines means to save energy and save battery life. The way to avoid this situation is changing your settings for sleep mode. You may want to put your machine to "Never Sleep" unless provoked.
