Hi guys. I have downloaded a Mosaik video edit program named Movavi Video Editor from Softonic but it is not getting installed on my Windows XP, its showing internet connection required.
What could be the problem?

You need to check your activation code for the software if there is. Check you computer connection,when downloading you need an internet connection. But when it is already installed maybe you are having a compatibility problem, please do download the version that covers windows xp.

Previously you have downloaded from softonic and for installation part it needs internet connection, so make sure you are connected with internet. Please download the compatible version of Movavi Video Editor from /www.movavi.com for windows XP. Try installing now with secure internet connection. Â As this is a commercial version you need to enter the license key to access the ful features and edit the videos without watermark.

If that’s what’s happening when you install the program then that means the file you downloaded is an online installer. When you install a program using an online installer, a stable internet connection is required because the files needed for the installation needs to be downloaded to your computer. When all files have been downloaded completely, that’s the only time the actual installation takes place.
When the installation is complete, all the files that have been downloaded and used with the installation will be deleted automatically. That’s why when installing a program from the internet I always prefer using the standalone installer so that I can always run the installer anytime I want without requiring an internet connection. With an online installer, you cannot install a program without internet connection.
That’s why if you cannot install the Movavi Video Editor, check if you have internet connection. Before installing the program, make sure your computer meets the requirements. The Movavi Video Editor supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.x.
