Problem in Loading of Windows XP Pro

Hello, could I get help regarding my Windows XP Pro? Whenever I load it, it takes so much of my time.  I timed  it and it loads for about 7-8 minutes.  There are no problems after I load it.  It's just that it takes too much time loading.

I tried the following tactics to try and solve this hassle: running the anti-virus softwares,  Acronis backup and Highjack.  However, nothing was found and it says that it is safe.  Could  somebody check it out? Maybe you could find something I failed to see.

Hi,

The very long load time may be caused by one of your startup programs taking too long to get loaded into the operating system. Try and disable your startup items and non-Microsoft services and boot the computer again.

If it improves, then enable the startup items and services one by one to see which software is the culprit. As soon as you’ve found out which one it is, try and uninstall it.

If you need that software, make a fresh install of it. If this does not help, backup your files and reinstall Windows. Your installation may already be corrupted.

Thank you. Hope it helps.

This problem mostly comes when there is a huge hard drive and there is a low processor in your computer. So you need to reduce the hard drive capacity or you need to increase the processor capacity.

If you are using a 500 GB hard disk with a low processor then it will take a lot of time to load windows. If this is not in your case then you can check that you have a good hard disk i need to say that there is not bad sectors on your hard drive run chkdsk and disk defragment to make sure that you are running on a good hard drive and your hard drive is fully working and working properly.

Also you can check that you have enough RAM memory to run your windows and you will be able to solve your problem.
