Hello!  There is trouble with my iPad.  I upgraded to iOS 5 recently and used ICloud. The folders for my pictures are gone and instead, I have only one folder with all my pictures in it.  How can I get my previous folder organization with performing it manually?

Hi Connie_Remick,

To get back all  your previous folder you should look for them in the Purchased Items int he App store.  You will not find them in your MBP back up folder.  Instead they are all back up in iCloud.  You should patiently reinstalled them again manually one by one.  I am assuring you all your applications will be restored again.

Hope this might help you.

Thanks.

Hi Connie,

Follow these steps to find your pictures folders in iCloud back up:

1. Connect your computer with iPad thorough USB cable,

2. Launch iPad Explorer to search your back up pictures,

3. Select Back up and delete the backup instructions files by hitting the delete button (Find it on extreme right on top of your PC).

4. Restart your iPad.

If you don’t know which files you shall delete then please note the following files –

— /Media/DCIM/.MISC/Info.plist,

— /Media/PhotoData/.MISC/DCIM_APPLE.plist,

— /Media/PhotoData/Photos.sqlite or (/PhotoData/Photos.sqlite),

— /Media/PhotoData/PhotosAux.sqlite or (/PhotoData/PhotosAux.sqlite)

I am sure it shall work then.
