Hi

Tried this option, open the (C:) drive then go to Program files folder>go to yahoo folder> then to messenger>then click yahoo messenger icon and you will be able to log in.

If it still doesn't work, do the same procedure and open the contacts folder> change the file name to wldlog.dll_resp from wldlog.dll and then click apply or ok or enter>close this window and be sure that the folder name inside the contacts folder has changed to wldlog.dll_resp>exit the window completely and exit your Windows Live Messenger if you had it running>re-open it and you should sign in without any error.

When you install Windows Live Messenger, the application will automatically try to log you in at the end of the installation. That’s why if you don’t have internet connection or your connection suddenly stops working, this error will show up. To fix the problem, check your internet connection. Open your web browser and visit a website then try clicking some links to verify your connection.

If the connection is not working, troubleshoot your connection. If your computer is connected to a Wi-Fi router, try resetting that router. If the router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about 10 to 20 seconds. Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power or to power cycle.

After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on. When the router is ready, open your web browser and visit a website then try to click some links to verify the connection is working. Once you have a working internet connection, try to log in to Windows Live Messenger again then see if it works.
