I am trying to install my Microsoft VX webcam, but am having problems.
I am facing a lot of trouble with SP3! I receive an error message, which tells me that I should go to the MS website for advice.
I can't get past this screen!
Can you give me any ideas as to what is going on?

I have read your query. To fix this problem please follow these:
Does you earlier version of the software installed on your PC? If that is the case, then you need to remove your previous installation and reinstall latest software version. You can download latest release software from http://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/downloads. Installing latest software may fix this problem.
Type services. ms into Run and hit enter to view running services on the PC. Open Windows Installer service by double clicking on it. Choose Automatic from Startup type by viewing Windows Installer Properties. Start this as Automatic and click ok. Now see if software installation starts.
Clear your Temp folder of any unnecessary data and restart your PC with clean startup. It may resolve your issue.
Make sure that you have the latest version of Windows Installer installed, if not then uninstall the previous one and reinstall latest version. You can download the latest version from here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8483
Make sure that you have installed the latest version of .Net Framework. To get the latest version of .Net Framework, please visit https://www.microsoft.com/net
