Hi,

I am trying to load Windows Server 2003 server R2 on my inter server. Whenever I try to install windows server, it shows the error message "A problem has been detected and windows is shutting down to protect your computer”. When I asked Intel customer care to help, they gave me a driver to install and there is the problem, I can’t go to windows screen where I can pick a custom folder to install the driver.

Is there any other way to install this driver without booting the operating system, so that after installing the driver I can install the Windows server? Can you help me with this?

Thank you

If you have asked so much from Intel customer support then ask this one too. They might give you the best possible solution for this. However you can try the following things in order to see if it works.
Restart your computer or turn it on.
Keep pressing F8 until you see a black window with a lot of options in it.
Run your computer in safe mode. Actually what this safe mode does is it disables any extra feature that might be causing the issue that you are getting.
Once inside the windows, you can now install the drivers.
This safe mode method can also be used to track down the problem which is preventing you from installing the windows that you want to.
