Hi. I am trying to install The Blackberry Desktop Software version 5.0.1. It goes through the installation but stops when it reaches 75% and displays an error message "Blackberry Desktop Software 5.0.1

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is old available.

Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package Blackberry Desktop software.msi’ in the box below.

The 'Use source' is C:DOCUME~1adam.guyLOCALS~1TempWZSE0.TMP"

Your help in resolving this issue is needed. I am looking forward to your responses. Thank you.

Hello there! This is unlikely to be a fault of the Blackberry app. This is generally a bug in the Windows OS usually created by the previous or non updated versions of Desktop manager. Uninstall your Desktop Manager and use a reliable registry cleaner utility to uninstall all the related registry files of Desktop Manager. You may use Revo Uninstaller (www.revouninstaller.com) which can complete uninstall any utility including the program remnants and registry files. Then install the Blackberry app and an updated desktop manager. This should solve the problem. You may also report the matter to the Blackberry team which will help them come with more better versions in the next updates. Hope your problem gets solved soon. Best of Luck!
