Hello Experts,

I had to reinstalled Windows XP 64Bit on my PC few days ago. After reinstalling windows XP I tried to install  avg 2010 64bit on it, but it crashed in the middle of the installation process. I tried many times to install avg 2010 64bit but same problem occurs every time. Please help me resolve this issue.

Dear Julian Battles,

There are many reasons behind this problem.

Please make sure that your software is good. Means its setup is not out of order, its files are not infected by virus.

There is no corrupt file in its setup.

Sometimes when we download the software from internet, it cannot be installed in system because of some technical reasons.

If the software package has virus, then it will make problem.

If the software has a corrupted file in it, then the same problem will appear.

So i suggest you to download again your desired antivirus.
