Problem with the FlameRobin on my Firebird DBMS

Hi,

I faced the same problem a few months ago. It was because of Norton firewall that was restricting it from connecting. This is how i solved the problem:

1. If you have Norton anti virus go to the firewall settings. If you have any other software, go to its settings and search for firewall settings.

2. Go to the list of blocked items and search for Flamerobin.

3. Now move this application from blocked list to the safe list and check the always allow option.

4. Now restart your computer so that the changes can take effect.

Now try again, it should be working now. It is most probably due to the anti virus firewall.

Hope this information helps you.
