When I download or install programs my computer gives me an error message that is corrupt. But when I continue installing sometimes it works out. What is the problem can CPU cause this problem or the computer has some other issues which need to be addressed.

I have some suggestions for you.

1. It could be that you have somehow damage your Registry for windows. If this is the case, you have a couple options. First option is to reinstall the operating system from scratch (preferably with a fresh install after formatting). Second option would be to attempt a repair of your operating system. This option can be done by inserting your DVD for the operating system you are using and restarting your pc with Boot from disc option turn in on your BIOS. There will then be an option to repair your windows installation. This is the highest on my list of problems of this type.

2. You could possibly have a virus that is causing problems with the way that windows operates. If you do not have any sort of anti-virus software, please try Malwarebytes Anti-malware as it seems to work the best for any of my own customers.

3. This is probably the option no one wants to hear. You could have hardware issues causing this to happen. If you have tried the above steps, I would recommend pulling out a stick of RAM one at a time and booting up. This would be a very likely issue as RAM does tend to go bad. This could also be contributed to hard drive failure. If you encounter issues reinstalling or repairing windows, this is likely your issue.

I hope this helps!

Hello Almira,

The issue here must be with the programs that you have downloaded and trying to install. The program might have downloaded properly, especially if you downloaded from the P2P download sites, the program might have missed some important files hence its set up its broken. Though it may install successfully, the program might end up having problems when you execute it.

Later during the execution you may have problems such as missing registry files or broken registry files for the program that you have installed, and therefore I will advice that you download another set up that does not have issues.
