Hello experts,

This afternoon I aimed to use symlink in a server but found the following error message:

\mal-zethLI8RARYFiction is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Access is denied.

Just like what the error message says, you do not have enough permission or any permission to view the contents of the folder named Fiction. Your authority level or permission level is only up to the shared folder named LIBRARY on the shared workstation named mal-zeth.

There are specific restrictions when viewing different resources over the network or in a local area network. This is done to ensure that there are only specific persons or users allowed to view the contents of that folder or directory. This is done to ensure the security of the data in the network.

You will still be able to view the contents of the Fiction folder if you will ask your system or network administrator to add your workstation to the list of shared computers for the Fiction folder. Or you can ask the one who works on that workstation, mal-zeth, to add your computer to the allowed users for the Fiction folder so you can access the contents.
