Problem with Autodesk Windows installer package

Hello,

I am in trouble installing the Autodesk software. The installation does not end and gives me an error message. You can see the following attached image.

Have you any idea how to solve this error?

Auto Product Design Suite Ultimate 2012

Error 1720. There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Hi Carol,

The issue you got is more of a windows error. This issue occurs normally when installing a new program.

Here’s a work-around that you can do.

The steps outlined works for multiple users and I hope that this will work for you as well.

  1. Choose Start > Run
  2. Type CMD
  3. From the dialog box type regsvr32 scrrun.dll

You will receive a confirmation that a dll has been successfully registered.
