I find a weird problem on Acronis true Image Home 2011. The software refuses to remove a backup or generate an Incremental Backup. What should I do? Please help. Thanks in advance.

Problem with Acronis True Image Home 2011
Usually, when you encounter this kind of problem with backup utility applications, the problem is usually within the software itself and not with the stored backup data. This is sometimes due to corrupted files or data. As you use the application, it usually encounters different errors in the background and as a result some of the stored data and sometimes including few installation files gets corrupted.
This thing is unavoidable and is usually common to applications as you use it from the first time you install it onwards. Uninstalling the application might solve the problem. Try uninstalling Acronis True Image Home 2011 from your computer then check your computer for any possible errors afterwards.
This way you will be eliminating any errors in the file system before installing it back. Use a disk utility application to check the system. After checking the hard drive, install the application again. This will fix any corrupted files in the installation and restores its settings back to the default.
It will also help if you will create a restore point before attempting to make a backup. This way you can restore your computer to the state before the backup was created.
