Problem with Acer cpu heat

Hi everyone, I have a problem in my Acer CPU it always easy to heat, although that I used it for a short time only like browsing into the internet and playing videos. Can someone tell me why this happen and if there are some applications or software that I can download and install to monitor the temperature of my Acer CPU tell it to me. Thank you.

Check the BIOS and take note of the speed of the of the processor fan.  It is possible that the fan is not spinning enough to cool down the heat sink. Which can cause overheating and improper shutdown of your CPU. The fan should be spinning at about 4200rpm  to let the heatsink to cool otherwise,  You may need to change the fan. I had a similar problem and discovered that the fan on the heatsink was not spinning fast enough so I got a fan replacement  and everything is well now.
