Hi,

I booked online my plane ticket, but had a problem printing my email that contains my booking details on internet explorer, an error message prompted that tells about a script error, I am pasting a screen shot below.

An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Internet Explorer Script Error

An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Line:        93

Char:       1

Error:       Access is denied

Code:       0

URL:       res://C:WINDOWSSystem32shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

By the way I am using Microsoft XP home edition and an Epson Stylus T10 for my printer. I already reinstalled my printer driver as I guessed where the problem is pointing, but unfortunately, when I tried to print same error still came about.

I am posting this problem of mine on this site, in hope I can have some solution to my error issue.

Thanks!

The possible source for this is that the file Ole32.dll which should be located in the %Windir%System32 folder is not correctly registered. To resolve this problem, you can follow these steps:

  • First step: Click Start or the Windows button on your keyboard.
  • Second step: Choose Run. Since you are using Windows XP, you can easily find this option along with the search option. Windows 7 users however should type "Run" on the search box to use it.
  • Third step: Type "Regsvr32.exe %Windir%System32Ole32.dll" command on the Open box and then click OK.
  • Fourth step: Click OK in the RegSvr32 dialog box.

I hope this comment fix your problem,

Stevecanry.

Hello there Stevecanry,

What I think about your issue is that there is a Surfairy installed on your system. The above error message is the exact message that you will receive when you try to print in Internet Explorer. So what you need to do is remove it.

Follow the following steps:

  1. Click on Start and select Run.
  2. Enter c:program filessurfairyuninstall.exe.
  3. Then, follow the instructions that will be shown on the screen.

Disable the third-party browser extensions of your Internet Explorer to manage this problem. Here's how to do it:

  1. Open your Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
  3. Locate and click Advanced tab.
  4. Then, click on Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart) to clear it from the check box.
  5. Click on Apply and hit OK.

Hope this will help.
