I tried to create a PDF file from Page Maker using the Print command. I chose the Acrobat Distiller as my printer driver. The results are rather disappointing. What am I doing wrong?

I tried to create a PDF file from Page Maker using the Print command. I chose the Acrobat Distiller as my printer driver. The results are rather disappointing. What am I doing wrong?
A very simple fact is that a .pdf file is very easily formed using the PDF creator software. Or the software is also possible using the Open Office ORG for the conversion from Excel or word to PDF version. All you need to to take the original copy of the data from a text file or a excel or word file into a pdf using the above. The page maker need not be used. Or else you may coy the contents of the page maker to Open office ORG type files and then convert to PDF type.
This is always possible. Install Adobe PDF which allows saving in PDF format in print option.
