Hello TechyV buddies!

I think I have encountered  bug error report on my printing service. I'm using XenApp Fundamentals 6 which is installed on my windows 2008 R2 Server, SP1. I also have Citrix Hotfix Rollup pack 1 installed. I use Citrix Universal Print Driver because I don’t have any print drivers installed in this server. I often receive an error message when a certain user tries to connect. Here is the error message:

The print spooler failed to load a plug-in module C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\Cpupdui.dll, error code 0xc1. See the event user data for context information.

Log Name: Microsoft-Windows-PrintService/Admin

Source: PrintService

Event ID: 808

Level: Error

User: MAGNET\Johnr

OpCode: Spooler Operation Failed

Task Category: Initializing

Keywords: Print Spooler

And an event log pops out with this error:

The document Order Entry.RVENDORPOLaserMaster, owned by John, failed to print on printer EPSON TX121 Series (from MAGNETPC) in session 3. Try to print the document again, or restart the print spooler. Data type: NT EMF 1.008. Size of the spool file in bytes: 393216. Number of bytes printed: 304680. Total number of pages in the document: 2. Number of pages printed: 0. Client computer: XENAPP. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 2147500037. Unspecified error

Log Name: Microsoft-Windows-PrintService/Admin

Source: PrintService

Event ID: 372

Level: Error

User: MAGNET\John

OpCode: Spooler Operation Failed

Task Category: Initializing

Keywords: Classic Spooler Event,Document Print Job

I would like to know what could have caused this even if the user does not report any problem in printing the document. Can you tell me any solution to this issue? Any effort  will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

hi Jhonny,

i want to give some solution for your problem...

maybe it happened because there is a problem in your windows printing component, or your windows printing components need to be updated..

open this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2647753... then you can update your printing components in windows 7 and windows server 2008 R2

Hi there Jhonny:

Thanks for asking.

By the way, I think this is from a TIMING problem.

if this error appear not only when you are printing, it's really a timing problem.

I need you to try this first, turn on your printer and then you restart your computer. So while your printer is in progress of turning on, you are doing your restart.

See if the error still appear.

I hope this process will help,

JP
