Hi!

I am new to programming and I just got started with JavaScript. Someone recommended that I can use PowerBuilder programming environment for my development without giving detailed information on how I can get it up and running. In PowerBuilder how do you incorporate the different programming languages that are out there. Say you wanted to use both JavaScript and PHP, can they both work on PowerBuilder environment? Thanks for your assistance.

Hello,
I advise you because you are beginner to programming is using Netbeans IDE for building your Application,t helps you to program within Programming languages such as Java, PHP, JavaScript, C++, ruby rails and more as you want, you can add plugins or SDK of what you want to write , and it is easy and you will not feel puzzle when you are coding with it,This about the IDE, Also my advice to you about tutorials, if you want to learn JavaScript , PHP, and other web programming languages you should learn from the w3schools website because you will find everything there, It is very good and the best teacher site for beginners.

PowerBuilder is the simplest and most effective application development tool From Powersoft (Sybase now) for making high-performance and data-driven apps for business. It is a well-known RAD (Rapid Application Development) tool for creating building object-oriented programming client/ server apps. The major feature of PowerBuilder is, it can let you create databases through the object-oriented interface.
