Power Supply Worked On A. Different PC

I finished upgrading one PC and used a power supply that was working. I literally just pulled it from one system and added it to this new one. Now I am not getting any power at all.  Can these be damaged just by unplugging them? Is there a way to test them out of the computer?

Unplugging the power supply with the power is not risky at all and I don't think it might have caused any damage through that. The reason why your computer can not power on is because power supplies are not universal. Computers require different amount of voltage according to their performance ability. To make sure sure that your power supply is not faulty plug it to you previous machine and press power button. If it does work, you will need to find another processor with a higher voltage.
